New Toronto TTC StreetCars spotted

Snapped at King & Spadina yesterday while on lunch break.  These streetcars are set to be out on the street by August 2014.  It wasn't accepting any passengers and just driving on the tracks.  I suppose they were giving her a test run to make sure everything was on track.  They look pretty snazzy and a lot bigger than the current street cars.  Bigger is better in this case.  I am curious how it'll be inside.  I am most excited about using presto and possibly your phone to pay for it.  I am still not clear on how you can use your phone to pay.

Lime-A-Rita sample

I saw these guys handing out free beers in since last week but never actually stopped to talk to them because I was just on a walk and didn't have id with me (to prove I was of legal drinking age) or there were too many people crowding around.  Well today on my walk back into work, there was no line up and I was able to grab a sample Bud Lights Lime-A-Rita which is supposed to be beer and margaritas combined together.

It claims that it is Best poured over ice, Bud Light Lime Lime-A-Rita is a bold new drink that is perfectly balanced. At 8%,áit delivers authentic margarita taste with a delicious, refreshing finish."  You can get it at the Beer Store in Toronto, Canada.

Despite its claims, I am skeptical.  I can't imagine this tasting good because margaritas are so delicious and beer is well beer.  I like a cold one as much as the next girl but I'd pick a margarita over a beer any day.  I just popped it in the fridge so it can get cold and then I will give it a go.  Crossing my fingers but don't have high expectations.
